But I am on morning shift at The Line at 6am as hostess. As instructed by my boss.
Turned in at 1am yesterday and woke up at 4.30am. I sure am tired.
What's worse is that morning didn't turn out fine.
Yesterday (when I wasn't working) The Line encountered a massive breakfast crowd (due to the China guests group) and we had 1500 guests waiting to dine in the 440-seater The Line which was a big problem for the hostesses since most of them can't speak chinese too. So apparently this morning hotel management had decided to open up Tower Ballroom and set chinese buffet breakfast to handle the crowd. I, being the hostess, was instructed to direct all china guests to Tower Ballroom for breakfast but they didn't want to because they wanna dine in The Line just like previous days. It really made my job and life damn difficult lah. And Giovanni saw me unable to handle a guest and it seemed like he was a little disappointed. Mirko helped me to handle a GC Diamond guest too. I feel affected cos I feel I didn't do well enough.
But anyway the matter escalated when the China guests are signing a petition in the ballroom to say that Shangri-la ostracizes PRCs by not letting them dine in The Line. Very big problem indeed but everything will be settled by management eventually. I went off at 11am sharp haha. Meeting relatives for lunch at SSC Astons at 12.30pm!
Everyone headed to my house after lunch and they gambled as usual while I brought the kids downstairs for a stroll too. Dinner was downstairs at a tze char stall and I did the yusheng on behalf of everyone because apparently they don't provide the service of serving yusheng.

Slept early cos I am tired. Thankfully I am off tomorrow.
