Day 58: 24 October, Thursday

Happy Thursday because I have no lessons!

OB class is cancelled because its mid terms week! Needless to say we slept till almost 12pm. Wanted to find Professor Philip Rose to show him our OB report draft by 12pm but ended up didn't go. Haha.

Cheryl, Yvonne, Yixin and I went to do our laundry before going for lunch. Cheese Ramyun extra cheese. Hehe. "이모, 계란말이 김밥 하나, 그리고 치즈 라면 세게 주세요. 치즈 라면 다 치즈 추가 주세요~"

So after lunch Yixin went to CNA to buy stuff, I went Deli Roti to get my Cookies & Cream shake for studying. Came back to the dorm to a slightly bad news. Sincerely hope it doesn't escalate too much cos things will be bad if it does. :(

So I studied for IBN in the PC Room in the afternoon because IBN mid terms is tomorrow. On the other hand, we are going to Seoul tomorrow! And we haven't packed. Haha.

I studied all the way till dinner time when Yixin, Meihwa and I went to get dinner for the girls. Its 13 degrees tonight, and guess what we wore to go get dinner?

Yeaps that's what we wore. And people were all staring at us on the streets like we were aliens. Haha!

We went to Lotteria to order food first. After that I went to Mini Stop just opposite to get chicken. The moment I stepped in I greeted the cashier (he was a middle-aged male) "안녕하세요". Just as I was about to order the chicken he intercepted with a question.

Him: "안 추워?"
Me: "오 아니에요." *smiles*

I ordered the chicken and while he was packing he talked to me again.

Him: "한국 사람 아니 맞여?"
Me: "네 아니에요."
Him: "어느 나라 사람에요?"
Me: "싱가포르 사람에요."

When I was paying for the chicken he asked me again.

Him: "진짜 안 추워요?" *in disbelief*
Me: "네 안 추워요. 오늘 날씨 괜잖아요."
Him: "오 잘가요~"
Me: "네 안녕히계세요~"

If anyone is curious whether the weather is really cold, let me explain. :)

I can safely say that I'm someone super afraid of hot weather and I'm also someone who can withstand the cold pretty well. I just have internal body heat I guess haha. Up till now, the only time I really felt cold was when it was 6 degrees. That was last week I guess. Because we're in the period of the year where its changing from Autumn to Winter, so the weather tends to fluctuate more. These few days its back to 17-18 degrees in the day and maybe 12-13 at night. So it really isn't that bad. It is only intolerable when the wind blows. When the wind blow can die sia. Really f*cking cold sia. And we will be just whining on the streets haha.

The reason why we still wear slippers, short-sleeved shirt and fbt out to get dinner is most probably because we're too used to Singapore's warm weather. I really can't imagine wearing thermal wear and shoes and jeans just to go outside my dorm to get a drink. So troublesome can. But when its winter its a different thing lah. Hahaha. I think I will just want to stay in my blanket and not go to school. Hahaha just kidding. :P

So back to studying after dinner. Meihwa went up to her room, Yvonne went for the Korean class, Yixin did her handmade cards while Cheryl and I studied for IBN.

At 10pm we packed our stuff cos Cheryl, Yixin and I were going to have beer can chicken! Its a restaurant pretty near our place, like 5 mins? Maybe less than that. Yvonne and Meihwa continued their studies.

The three of us met Surya and went to the restaurant. It was my first time there although Cheryl and Yixin kept saying it was damn good.

So we ordered 2 of the Beer Can Chicken at KRW$15,000 each, 2 bottles of Beer and 1 bottle of Soju! We chatted and then walked around the streets and had lots of fun. And then we went back to our dorm at about 12mn.
