Day 89: 24 November, Sunday

Temperature: 7/14 degrees
Weather: Rainy

So this posts starts from midnight because Cheryl and I stayed out for the night!

We met Surya at LGC and then he brought us to where the guys were, which is an underground restaurant called Kenji which is so damn cozy. The place is unbelievably magical; when Surya brought me in I felt like there was no end to the place! There's like a bridge in the middle of the room and you get access to the second floor. So you could sit on level one or two, your choice. Its like a indoor play land, with paths winding around the interior of the restaurant! And then there's a swing in the middle too! Its kinda difficult to describe in words actually, and it was too dark to take photos.

So we drank a little and chatted and had so much fun. Because the three guys are so dorky. Annoying in the funny way. Especially Surya. Sometimes I really don't know how to react to his words. Lol. And Zion forever looks half awake, and tries to speak Chinese but doesn't sound right. And Mac is always good with his magic tricks every where he goes! But Cheryl and I were kinda still depressed from the movie. Lol.

At about 2.15am we left the place and headed to Noraebang!

Zion paid KRW$15,000 for 3 hours but because we were all half-dead (and depressed) Zion was kinda the only one singing so he was bored. So we left after half an hour and headed to play pool!

Photos I took in noraebang... They were the best I could, so forgive the sucky iPhone quality,

So Zion brought us to this place (just above Shisha actually) and we played pool there!

It was KRW$6,000 per hour and its so cheap compared to Singapore. What makes it better is that they even serve drinks!

And I found out one very shocking thing... Koreans don't usually play the 15-ball (8/9-feet) pool. In Singapore we have pool, billard and snooker. But over here they only have pool and its very difficult to find. Why? Check out the photo to see what do Koreans usually play.
Find anything different about the pool they play?
The table has no pockets!
In Korea, pool is called Pocket Ball because the usual game that Koreans play is the one that doesn't have any pockets on the table. There's only one white ball, one yellow ball, and two red balls. The objective of the game is to hit the one red ball with your white ball and causing a chain reaction to hit the second red ball. (forgive my explanation my English is bad idk if you could get it). Basically its like white ball -> red ball #1 -> red ball #2. So if you succeed you get one point and whoever gets more points wins. I forgot what's the yellow ball for so... #nevermind

Yeah so Surya and Cheryl were one team while the three of us were one team. It was kinda Cheryl's first time (and mine in six months) so we were all going at a pretty slow pace. Initially we all took turns to play but towards the end it was just Mac against Cheryl and Surya while Zion and I were sitting by the side watching them and talking away.

So we were talking about almost everything but I don't remember the exact content we talked about. I only remembered I argued with him about having beef samgyupsal (I even ate it) but he insisted that there is no such thing as beef samgyupsal. :/ So he started to naver search to prove to me and I tried to prove to him with photos of the beef samgyupsal I ate (which is the curly raw meat if you remember) but he said that the curled up one is pork. I seriously didn't believe him because I was sure we ate it in Seoul!

Then he started telling me grandfather stories. He said that long time ago this man used the shabu shabu machine to try slicing pork (instead of the usual beef for shabu shabu) and the meat curled up so his boss was complaining who would buy this kind of meat but it turned out when they used it for samgyupsal the meat will unroll itself so its named as 대페 삼겹살 (or something). Erm, I had no choice but to believe him because he sounded so sincere in proving his point and because he's Korean. Okay so I let the matter rest haha.

And did I mention that during drinking they told me Zion was born in 1995? I was damn shocked and didn't believe but they somehow convinced me in the end. Furthermore Zion kept addressing me as noona and I honestly didn't know how to react when he tried to do some aegyo. #sorrybutImnotKorean xD

So I started taking photos with everyone. These days some photos are just for my blog. I really damn lazy to take photos of what I eat already especially if it is like instant food. Hahaha. So took a photo with everyone, and then this Zion not satisfied with himself in all the shots and we ended up with multiple shots. xD

So Cheryl was kinda addicted to pool and they played few more rounds before we headed for 6am breakfast.

Yeah the entire time I was talking to Zion he was calling me noona and using his aegyo and telling me he damn hungry ask me buy him food so I told him when we leave we go eat together. Mac had to go for church service on Sunday morning so he went back first~

Zion was craving for 감자탕 (kamja tang) which I thought was potato soup because kamja = potato and tang = soup but apparently its not. Its like 갈비탕 (beef stew) just that its not beef its pork and the soup is lightly spicy. I think its was called 해장국 (haejang kuk) or something. My first time trying and its not bad~

But I kept having problems taking the meat off the bones (just like beef stew) and maybe its because it was 6am in the morning I'm kinda grumpy (idk lol) so I was kinda "whining" that its so difficult to eat I can't take the meat out. And then Zion just took my chopsticks from me and helped me (taught me too) take the meat out. I was thankful that he is so nice. Surya said Zion always do this for his younger brothers (6 and 8 years old).

Seeing all this that happened through the night (plus what Yvonne reminded me during lunch) I realised that there's no way Zion is born in 1995 when he's graduating after one more semester plus he's always taking care of people so well. I'm gonna find out his real age. And to Surya and Mac, stop deceiving me lah >< about Mac's children and Zion's age and everything. Guys forever in cahoots one. Tsk.

So we went back to our dorm at 6.30am and then I showered and went to sleep. Woke up at 3pm and ate my tuna sandwich (yums) until Cheryl asked to go out to eat. It was breakfast for Cheryl (because she just woke up), lunch for me (because I had sandwich for breakfast) and dinner for Yvonne (cos she had her usual meals).
Breakfast :D
Wanted to eat the yummy bibimbap that's underground but its closed on a Sunday so we had 자짱면 (soy bean noodles) and 탕수욕 (sweet sour pork) at 3pm!
Lunch :D
Went back to our dorm and did our laundry and then played mahjong for the entire afternoon. Actually just a few hours until 7pm because Cheryl was going out. I had meepok for dinner.

#ootd with our cute pants because we were bored on a rainy Sunday.

Dinner :D
Then we lepak in the dorm and the Seoul people came back!! Missed them so much :D

So that's kinda my exciting weekend. On the other hand, K Attack 3 was a success!! Congrats to nypco for making yet another wonderful performance and rocking the concert hall! I feel happy too even though I'm not there because from seeing the tweets from the fans I can tell it must have been an awesome concert! Can't wait to join you guys for more performances when I get back!

Counting down to end of OSEP as well... Feeling sad because I'm gonna miss everyone here :( #dilemma
