Post-OSEP Day 13: 16 January, Thursday

Woke up early and met Wangwei at Yishun mrt to accompany her to Labrador Park (Alexandre Techno Park) to repair her laptop at the HP Service Centre. I sent mine in on the 9th for servicing and it hasn't arrived though they said only 3-5 working days.

We headed to ARC nearby to have lunch at Umi Sushi after that!

Then we both headed back to school because she had night shift at Cheers while I was meeting Amanda for dinner!

I met Amanda at Somerset mrt and we headed to Mandarin Gallery for Ippudo!!

Always heard that they serve really good ramen but haven't had a chance to try it until now!!

We ordered the signature ramen with an additional flavoured egg which costs $3. Heard from my friend that they have various hardness for the noodles (which is a first for me) and the recommended was Very Hard I chose Hard just in case.

I guess we had too high expectations of it because it didn't turn out as amazing as what others reviewed. It was just okay... Maybe slightly above average?

Plus the staff always shout Japanese greetings whenever a customer enters or leaves the store so it was really noisy. Almost as noisy as a club that Amanda and I had to whisper to each other at our ears. *annoyed*

Amanda wrote immediate feedback to them and I headed home after that.
