Weather: Rainy (humid)
Woke up early to search (or dig) for presents for Yikloong, Emily and Shayne cos I'm meeting these three people today!
Left home at 12pm and headed to school to meet Yikoong cos I needed help with backing up of my data ever since my laptop crashed in Korea. He's my senior from Chinese Orchestra (CO) and very good at IT stuff so... haha. I bought Sharetea on the way too.
I passed him my laptop hard disk and my external hard disk and then left. He said he'd tell me when he's done. And in a rush I forgot to pass him his gift. Probably pass it to him when I meet him again to pick up my stuff from him.
And then I went to use computer in school to update my blog for the past few days. My aunt actually asked me to continue updating my blog about adapting back to life in Singapore so here I am doing it!
Gonna take some time to thank everyone who has been reading my blog these four months! Hopefully you enjoyed reading it and I enjoyed sharing my experience with all of you too! There's more than 12,000 views currently so thank you for your readership!! Hehe :P
Also, I thought of compiling a few things that I haven't got used to in Singapore yet.
1. Singapore is too hot. (needless to say) A drastic change in weather from -9 to 28 degrees is not something to be easily accepted.
2. Singapore is too green. Its winter in Korea so I guessed I'm not used to seeing trees around the streets. The last time I saw green leaves was probably when I left Singapore (when I reached Korea it was already autumn).
3. I brought over chewing gum from Korea and I almost wanted to spit it on the roadside in Singapore, because that's what we do in Korea.
4. And yes, I almost wanted to jaywalk too. Not the Singaporean kind where you cross without a traffic light. Its the Korean kind where you can just walk across the street with your eyes closed because the cars have to slow down and let you pass.
5. Throwing toilet paper down the toilet bowl. Yes, in Singapore we all do that, but in Korea the toilet bowl gets choked if you do it. Now I think twice before throwing toilet paper into the toilet bowl at home.
That's all for now, but I'm guessing there's more to come...
Up till now, here's the list of people I've met since I came back:
1. My family
2. Emily
3. Work colleagues
4. Yikloong
5. Schoolmates
More to come I guess! This week is gonna be a busy week for me!
Okay not to side-track too far haha. Was updating my blog in the computer lab the whole afternoon and am happy to have seen many friends around school!! (Saw Justin, Daniel, Josh, Alexis, Xiuyi, Charmaine, Lynette, Meiyi, Chris, Sean, Ben, Nienling, Claire, Jeremy) Met up with Ms Lew (my PEM) too to pick up my Director's list certificate! I missed the ceremony because I was in Korea but I'm thankful to have gotten into Director's list in my final semester in NYP!

Post-OSEP Day 3: Amidst all these happiness, I feel lost. While everyone is studying hard for their projects and exams, I'm here enjoying life. What should I be doing now?
