Helped Jason do set up for the breakfast event for VIP when I reached and at about 7.30am when I was done Jason was telling Syam that he needed a girl with brains and Syam just pointed to me. "But her brains can only use until 8am." hahaha yes sadly xD
So I went for training with Chef Amer for my new position which took one hour. Shall not elaborate on the training details because it will be top boring.
Training ended at 9am and I went to take a break till 10am before heading back to banquet again.
Helped to stand by in the VIP waiting room for first coffee break and then once it was over we cleared up and it was almost 12 already. I was feeling tired so I told Jason I wanted to sign out and go home but Jason wanted me to serve the second coffee break at 3.30pm so he gave a me a 45-minute break while everyone was busy at the Tower Ballroom buffet lunch. Love working with familiar people because we can accustom to each other's working habits. So I came back at 12.45pm and helped out at Tower buffet lunch because it was soooo busy and chaotic. And I got annoyed at some staff who really do things that make me wanna facepalm. First time rushing about so much in an event (plus I have no station) so for the first time I felt like a captain haha.

This Opera Slice tastes heavenly. |
So after helping out at lunch I continued to prepare for the second coffee break and when it finally ended I went to sign out at 4.30pm.
Dropped by The Line to arrange working schedule with Yeehong and saw Peter and Maria who just came back from China. Miss these familiar people so much. Spoke to the new Taiwanese trainee Eric after work and we got along quite well! He was very amazed that I know so many people in Shang despite me telling him I already worked for four years and in many departments. Through talking to him, it made me wanna stay in Shang more because of the ties I've built over the years with everyone.
