Life in Korea ^^: Post-OSEP Day 7: 10 January, Friday

Plan for today was to go Lavendar to make my IC at Immigrations Checkpoint Authority (ICA) but I became too lazy so I dropped the plan. I think I'll go on Saturday morning.

I spent the afternoon (woke up at noon) packing my room and watching Running Man while munching on the instant meepok (the one we ate in Korea) that I just bought. Yums.

I showered went for high tea date with my best friend of all time and I was happy to have someone to dress up with me! Thanks for your Christmas gifts too!

I was supposed to meet Hannam 8 for dinner tonight! Because Adrial said dress code is smart casual I brought along a pair of flats (I was wearing my killer heels haha) in case I was over-dressed and in case my feet couldn't take the pressure. Haha. After all its a new pair of heels. The one I bought in Hongdae.

I met everyone at Raffles mrt at 7pm and I was the last (again!) although I already set off earlier :( I really didn't expect the mrt to go so slow honestly speaking.

But anyway we walked to the restaurant that Adrial already made a reservation for which was Pastra Fresca at Boat Quay just by Singapore River. The night view was pretty, the ambience average whereas the food was not worth the price. Nonetheless we had an awesome dinner because anytime spent with Hannam 8 is the best!

After which we planned to head to Wine Connection near Centrepoint so we walked to Esplanade from Raffles and then through City Link to City Hall Station instead of Raffles Place Station because Adrial said he wanted to give us buffer time to talk lol.

So we boarded the train at City Hall and alighted at Somerset and then walked over to Cuppage. Sadly, Wine Connection was full house and same goes to the others on that street too. So we dropped the idea and wanted to head to Swensens instead but there wasn't space for eight. We had no choice but settled in Smoothie King in the end.

We took out the cupcakes they bought from Cedele and sang Adrial a birthday song! We ate the cupcakes and gave him the present we shared for him! Taiquan and Sean both left before 11pm because they had other appointments after that so the rest of us hang out until about 11.30pm where we decided to leave when Smoothie King was closing for the day.

Meihwa headed to City Hall to meet her friend while the rest of us headed home. Adrial alighted at Kallang, Cheryl and Yvonne at Ang Mo Kio and Yixin and I at Yishun. We dropped by Mac to have supper and small chat haha. And then went home.

The main reason I feel happy today is because I got to dress up, though many people may have judged me (yes I am concerned even about how STRANGERS judge me). Nonetheless happy to have met Hannam 8 today!!
