Today is a fun filled day!!
Slept till shiok this morning because there's no morning activity so I woke up at 10am. Cheryl and Yixin were still sleeping haha. And they slept earlier than me last night. Lol.
I did some reading on my module from 10am to 11.30am and then woke the girls up to prepare to go out with the Morocan girls to the bus terminal at 1pm. We went down to get ramyun for lunch while waiting but the girls didn't turn up. Till now we still don't know why they didn't come.

Udon w/ egg & Cafe Mocha for lunch~ |
So we proceeded to go to the bus terminal again! And guess who we saw? :D
We went to McDonald's first because Sean was hungry so I got myself a Coke Float. Why can't Singapore have this too?
We bought some ramyun and bakeries from E Mart, and some stuff from the bookstore. Took pictures of so many books cos I love their cover!! And few pictures of other things I saw at the bookstore which I like but didn't buy. ^^

And guess what? We stopped by the playground area again. xD
 |
They were playing tic tac toe on the sand. Lol |
Then we went to walk around our dorm area again, bought some seaweed and then headed back. It was 5.35pm already and we are meeting Tom & Seungjoo at 6pm!
So we rested a while then came down to meet them for dinner. It was the same place we drank Soju the last time!
The guys tried mixing soju and beer too. Apparently it is popular in Korea. And there is a way to do it specifically!
 |
Soju & Maekju (beer) |
First you pour the soju into the shot glass, about three-quarters. Then pour it into the beer glass. Then pour the beer till three-quarter full again. And the final step, take a spoon and push it hard to the base of the glass once to mix it. They don't stir it haha.
We girls tried other flavours of rice wine on the other hand! Grapes and Strawberry. It was damn good!!! It tasted like ice blended like seriously. If you can see from the picture.
 |
포도 막걸리 (Grapes Rice Wine) |
 |
딸기 막걸리 (Strawberry Rice Wine) |
 |
해물 전 (Seafood Pancake) |
 |
Grafitti on the wall |
We went to
노래방 ("noraebang" aka Kbox) after dinner and it was only KRW$10,000 per hour! (about SGD$11) Had fun singing witht Tom & Seungjoo too and Seungjoo's Ukraine buddy Leila. The name of the place was "Big Bang No Rae Bang". Haha but no Big Bang though! :P

With 승주 언니 ^^ |
Epilogue: I wanted to quote something Professor William Hickey said. He was the professor who kept complaining about Singapore but there were things which made sense. He said, "Singapore is a victim of its population." Its so true because the government always wants foreign talent, yet the citizens don't like it, and we don't have enough space and resources to cope with it. Furthermore, bringing in foreign talent will cause living costs to increase, and that is something we don't want. Anyway its just some food for thought. I saw another picture on Sgag that made me think too.
Side Note: I'm really thankful that my command of korean is able to help me survive in Korea. Because if it wasn't for it, I really would not know what to do man. Its so hard to communicate at times. Seems like three years of learning really helped!
That's about it for today! ^^
