Day 5: 01 September, Sunday

Its our first Sunday spent in Daejeon! I must say the pace of life here is really much slower than Singapore and we love it.

We agreed to meet at 12pm today to do our laundry together but because we slept at 3am last night from all the gossips we only woke up at 12pm (oops!). So we quickly washed up and did our laundry and then went for lunch. I didn't take photos of the laundry area but we took photos in the lift haha.

We went for lunch at Chao Chao again because the Jja Jang Myun was too good! Something funny happened during lunch too. Because we tried to explain to the ahjumoni that Adrial was vegetarian but she didn't understand, so Adrial opened the Korean app and played the Korean audio that said, "do you have any vegetarian menu?". And the ahjumoni understood, she held up the phone and said, "없어요!" Hahaha super cute lah the ahjumoni.

And we bought the Vitamin water because it had Beast on it. Hehe fan girl mode on.

We then spent the afternoon walking around the school after we sent our washed clothes into the dryer. Damn it takes like 2 hours plus to finish drying the clothes. We took many tourist shots of the school hehe.

We spent the afternoon waiting for our laundry to be dried and it was only done at 6.45pm. Sigh.

The result of the laundry was okay, just that we could have put more washing powder. And we shouldn't use the dryer. Cos some of the clothes shrank and others were super wrinkled. Haha I guess we have to iron our clothes before wearing already. :P

We met the guys at 7.15pm for dinner and we walked around to look for places to eat but couldn't find any suitable one. We walked in to one pizza shop but realized the pizzas were like $25 for one so eight of us left the shop and the shop owner stared at us lol. But whatever, "we're foreigners so we can do shit," Cheryl said. Haha.

End up we had pizza opposite our dorm and it was like $20+ for 3 pizzas and we ended up eating 4 cos it was too good! We had a bottle of Pepsi too. They call it Cola here. :P

We then washed the toilet because we decided to take the initiative. Then let the others wash it the next week. We were surprisingly efficient and split the work so we finished within half an hour. *claps*

We're making plans for tomorrow right now because school is supposed to start tomorrow. Meanwhile, check out my Insta video (when its ready). And also, the Yahoo article that made us laugh so much.
