My buddy texted me yesterday night and I only saw her text this morning. So when I was replying her I was amazed at my korean typing speed. I really hope my korean can improve after four months!
Cheryl woke up early to meet Tom with Yvonne and Taiquan to discuss about our weekend travel plans. Shall not reveal the destination until its confirmed!
Yixin, Meihwa and I planned to go City Hall to get my clothes and then to Eunhaengdong for shopping. The rest wanted to do gym haha. But I lazy.
We wanted to go eat the yummy steamed egg for lunch but it was closed because of Chuseok. So we went to eat MacDonalds at City Hall.
In case I haven't mentioned before, "local" Mac food is cheap, like their bulgogi burger (tastes like Samurai burger) costs only $3,400 for a set, whereas a double cheeseburger set costs $5,400. And they have McSpicy, but their chicken patty is like Singapore's McChicken. Lol.
Took a photo during our bus ride. Doesn't this feel like Singapore?

Our shopping loot >< |
This taxi uncle was especially nice! The moment I boarded the taxi I tried my best to sound korean (because its not that safe for 3 foreign girls to take taxi on their own) by saying, "은행동 가주세요" (Please go to Eunhaengdong). He replied okay in a very upbeat tone.
During the journey the three of us were talking both in chinese and english. But I think he heard us speaking chinese, so he asked me what does "来来" means. I told him it means "여기 와요" (come here). And I spoke to him a little!
Him: "한국어 알아요?"
Me: "아 그냥 조금!"
Him: "중국 사람에요?"
Him: "아 싱가포르. 싱가포르 중국어 도 알아요?"
Me: "네, 싱가포르 사람 영어 그리고 중국어 도 알아요."
Him: "오 한국말 잘해~"
Him: "What are you doing in Korea?"
Me: "공부에요. 우리 교환학생 에요."
Him: "어 진짜? 어디 어디?"
Me: "한남대학교."
Him: "아 한남대. How long are you in Korea? One month?"
Him: "삼주?! 와 한글 진짜 잘해~"
Me: "오 감사합니다~"
It really makes a difference when you know Korean in Korea. I'm really thankful for being so studious about korean in the past during secondary school (although there were some negative impacts :P) because everywhere in korea there're korean words and it feels like home when I can understand the words in just a glance.
So, we arrived at Eunhaengdong safely and I thanked him. Shopping time!

I didn't really want to shop anymore because I bought my stuff from City Hall already (black, grey, white tank tops & black, blue, grey spaghetti tops). Loving them so much!! It feels so good to be myself. No long sleeves or t-shirts for some time I guess!
But as Meihwa & Yixin shop around its tempting lah. So... I bought stuff again. Just a top and bottom! Nothing more!

So we went to the bus stop to wait for 314 (we waited 16 mins arghh) to go home. We were saying we were all tired so the first thing we'd do when we get hone is take off our shoes and nua on the bed. But when we got back, first thing we did? Fashion parade! Hahaha its just the two of us in the room anyway (the rest went to E-mart) until Meihwa joined us later. Love all my shopping loot today!!
We had a dinner date with the Japanese girls at 7pm. Guess what we had for dinner? :P
Haha pizza and we played games and danced a little. After we parted with the Japanese girls, we lepak outside the dorm until 11pm, chatting about everything under the sun. Hahaha fun times together. Back in our dorm now rushing our homework that's due tomorrow. Have a great Monday everyone!
