Day 30: 26 September, Thursday

9am OB class. Only OB class. Then we have to wake up early. Sian.

Bought myself Egg Muffin for breakfast.

Okay I'm just kidding. This is just some sandwich from Paris Baguette.

OB is fun anyway. We did this personality test called the "Holland Code" which helps to identify your areas of interests, what you should major in university and what jobs are suitable for you. Mine was SEC (Social, Enterprising, Conventional). Shall see if I manage to find the slides that the professor uploaded then you can do the test too!

Okay, so class ended at 10.30am. I was just telling Yixin that its like only 9.30am in Singapore. Whut.

Cheryl and Yvonne went back to the dorm first; Meihwa, Yixin and I went to Daiso to get some things. We bought chicken that taste like kfc (^^) and strawberry tea from Angel-in-us Coffee. Nua in our room until 1pm then go gym.

Who is cuter? xD
My finished strawberry tea.
Made a swing for our soft toys. Nah just kidding, it was
meant to be a pulley system. #thingswedoinkorea
My stuff finally arrived!
Yixin's mum packed her stuff like birthday present like that.
Yums...
Otw to gym...
After gym...
Guess I'm really not a sports person... But I did something okay! Jogged for 15 mins, brisk walked for 20 mins. Towards the end my thighs were itching badly so I hope the fats burned like what Adrial said!

Oh and btw, Cheryl and Yvonne were having their weekly yoga session with Adrial. :P

So I went up at 2pm, ate a slice of peanut butter bread (oops!) and showered cos I was supposed to meet my buddy at 3pm to repair my laptop.

Met my buddy and Minjeong then we went to eat first because they haven't eaten. We ate rabokki (spicy rice cake w/ ramyun), jolmyun (spicy cold noodles) and seafood fried rice!

Jolmyun (spicy cold noodles)
purposes of the different masks...

After we're done they shopped at Etude House a while before we took a bus to HP Service Centre.

I'm feeling sad because my laptop cannot be fixed. Apparently the motherboard's fine, hard disk also fine; it was something else that was faulty but I cannot remember which one. And I am most worried about my stuff in the laptop cos its important and I was super afraid the technician wouldn't understand and just reformat my laptop.

I thought it was just the LCD problem but apparently he said it was more than that. And the problem was that Korea's HP parts is not suitable for Singapore's HP parts. He showed me one of the Korean HP models; the back of the laptop is not like ours one whole piece, theirs is like Lego like that part by part.

So conclusion? He took out my hard disk for me so all my data are safe. And he told me to go back to Singapore to repair cos they cannot help. And he said the hard disk was very vulnerable/weak (?) so he wrapped it in bubble wrap and put into box and asked me to hold by hand and not put in my backpack. So  I held it all the way home.

Anyway I'm thankful my buddy went along with me because I wouldn't be able to find the place and communicate. Although she practically knew nothing about computers (that's because she didn't learn the english names of computer terms) so I actually had to get the technician to repeat slowly in Korean because my buddy couldn't translate either. At the ends of the day I thanked her but she thanked me instead. She said thank god my korean is good enough to understand else she really dk how to help me le~

So, time to go home. Her house is a different direction from me, so she instructed me the way to go home but I wasn't really sure. She gave me the name of the bus stop to alight too. So I went to the bus stop and looked at their map (:O) and boarded 105. What could be worse? The bus stop name wasn't on the map!

I was super flustered for like few stops until I manage to figure which direction the bus is going and which stop should I alight, I ended up alighting at Hannam University and walking back to the dorm. Today is chilly cold too~~

Love the gradient sky~
That is Venus!
So we went to have waffle ice cream before meeting James (this Hannam student who wants to come Singapore for OSEP) for dinner. I got myself strawberry juice and deokbokki and the ahjumoni gave us extra (one) rice cake because we were foreigners.

We went back to the dorm and ate pizzas (2 cheese, 1 sweet potato) for dinner while talking to James. After which Taiquan and Sean joined James in Billard whereas the rest of us went up. Nua, read books. But the two of them not sleeping early tonight. And... we haven't packed for our Busan trip tomorrow. Oops.

Gotta go already! Have a great weekend!
