Day 31: 27 September, Friday

Good Friday to everyone! :P

I went for my IBN class at 10.30am in the morning and did role play during the class. He used this random website to decide who to present and it was super nerve-wrecking!

Btw, Professor William Hickey is not in school this week so all his classes were cancelled (Operations Management). Check out Sean, Adrial and Meihwa's negotiation role play during class this morning!

We went for lunch with Adrial's buddy at the steamed egg place again (he brought us there :/) and to Rodem for coffee afterwards. We went back to our dorm at 2pm to pack our stuff for Busan!

Learned that they shake their rice so it doesn't stick to their bowl!
***cont'd***

So... We took bus 314 to Daejeon Station and waited for our boarding. Some photos of Daejeon Station.

Korea's skies are always cloudless.

We found Coldstone so we all bought ice cream to eat!

More photos before boarding the Mugunghwa.

A little scary that their trains are so near the platforms.
So we boarded the mugunghwa from Daejeon Station at 17:00 and arrived at Busan Station at 20.35. Super long journey. Some photos during the ride.

So we arrived safely at Busan Station!

There's this huge fountain in front of the station and Cheryl & Adrial did a very yolo thing by running through it! Watch the video here :D

We arrived and proceeded to the subway station (they call it the metro). When everyone tapped in I couldn't find my card so Meihwa accompanied me to get single trip ticket (we bought teenager price and one stop lesser actually xD) so I managed to enter. Then I remembered my card was in my iPod. At least I don't need to do a replacement again.

Photos~~

How their mrt station underground looks like.
Their metro map. Seems like Singapore's size.
Arrived at Jagalchi!
Busan night streets
We alighted at Jagalchi Station and found our guesthouse in no time (much faster than Seoul). Its a small, nice, cozy guesthouse located in the middle of the busy streets called NOL Guesthouse. The owner is super nice too!

So we settled to unpack and met at 9.30pm to have dinner. The owner of the guesthouse recommended the 족발 (pig trotters) just below so we went to try it! It was erm, okay only lo. Cos its cold and super fatty (see pictures below). But we were hungry so we ate almost everything.

Look at the amount of fats.
So I didn't eat any of the fats.
Went up to bathe after dinner, and then a few of them wanted to go out so they went ahead while Meihwa, Yixin and I stayed in the room. They went to walk around and ate supper. So we turned in early for the night because we had to be up early the next morning!
