Day 104: 09 December, Monday

Temperature: 2/11 degrees
Weather: Windy/Rainy + Snowy

All ready to start off my last week of Fall semester in Hannam University, Linton Global College, Daejeon, South Korea! Hahahaha :P

I had individual presentation for NGO today so I remembered my heels this time!!

Top: beige long-sleeved chiffon top
Bottom: Uniqlo black skinny fit tapered jeans
Shoes: mandatory heels for presentation
Bag: Longchamp Black (medium)
So I mentioned I could sleep in today because there's no GSM at 9am and OB at 10.30am mainly because its exam week! So I woke up at about 11am, dressed up and went to print my script for NGO presentation and did my tasks cards!

So... I did my presentation! I was quite satisfied on the overall but Yixin crashed the class today and she told me I spoke too fast and too Singaporean :( But anyways its over so I'm damn happy!

But Professor asked me a hell lot of questions. Thankful that I could answer all although idk correct or wrong... Hope for the best!

It was raining when we ended class so Meihwa, Yixin and I walked back to the dorm in the rain and people were staring at us like we're a bunch of poor kinds who cannot afford an umbrella but hey no. Walking in the rain is just fun. And yolo. Heehee.

So Yixin got her OM stuff for make up class at 2pm and then we decided to go have 부대지깨 (something like steamboat) although we were left with only half an hour before OM starts. Yixin brought me to this place that she frequents often and the lady recognizes her hahaha. My first time there and actually its just above Rodem!

Add the ramyun!
Let it boil and eat!
It was quite yummy and not really spicy but when you eat and eat until the end you feel your mouth is like on fire man. Yixin and I almost died of spicyness lolol.

So we went for OM late by about 10mins and Professor was going through our tests papers we did last Friday. I got 38/50 and although it isn't the confirmed marks I'm happy enough that I passed!

OM Finals
And during OM Professor actually asked about the riots that happened in Little India yesterday night. He said that it was reported in CNN and we thought he meant CNA but when Yixin checked it was indeed on CNN! Woah. And he said it because he said that is the spot where he wanted to hail for a cab at 11.45pm but to no avail because all the taxi drivers were waiting for the midnight surcharge before they picked up passengers. (yes he is very upset about this and a few other unpleasant encounters he had in Singapore but I think all is he suay lah.)

He had this another story of him wanting to pay for something somewhere but they said they only accept NETS so he went to 7-eleven to get a NETS top up card which is not the correct card and he's just upset why Singapore got two types of NETS card and no one tell him. (he was supposed to get the bank type of NETS card btw.)

Very foggy today :(
So his class ended at around 3+ and we went back to the dorm. I went to PC Room while the girls wanted to play mahjong! All addicted liao become gamblers already hahaha. I joined them shortly after at about 4pm while Yixin headed to school for some quiz. She came back at 4.40pm and said it turned out that there was no quiz but she got extra two points for turning up lolol. And then she wanted to play mahjong too but we were supposed to meet Tom at 5pm so we told her we'll play again at night. Hahaha.

So we met the guys at the lounge and headed to Linton Park to meet Tom and Sean! As expected the girls didn't bring umbrellas but ironically the guys did haha. We're just finding it too troublesome lah.

We reached Linton Park but because it was drizzling so there was no one there and we went into the library and turned out Sean and Tom were inside. Everyone joined them to discuss about the cost of travelling to Muju (or Moju idk) for skiing next week. I waited elsewhere with Cheryl cos we didn't plan to go.

Once they were done we headed for dinner! So hungry T_T

On the way Tom was talking to me so as we were walking together he shielded me from the rain (because he had an umbrella). I'm thankful but a bit awkward leh don't know if I'm supposed to hold the umbrella because he's the senior but then again he's the guy but then on second thought we're not very close also so aiya I was confused. But he was just talking to me about what they discussed just now and he told me he would say everything in Korean to me so that I could improve my Korean. He said so much and he was really talking like I'm some native Korean cos he thinks I can understand based on my standard but... Yeah I could somehow get it. Haha. Like the last time during ice skating with him and Dongmin they both keep telling me to talk to them in Korean because that's the only way I could improve haha. True true but speaking is so much more difficult than listening!

So we reached the restaurant to have 선갈국수 (handmade noodles) and then Tom told me that when I speak Korean it sounds like my Mother Tongue. I didn't quite get what he meant so he explained that he meant I sound like a native Korean when I speak Korean (meaning my pronunciation is quite spot-on). Awww I'm flattered *shy* hahahah well its the effort I put in three years ago after all. Thankful it paid off and I get to use it today.

Want to take picture for them but they shy (except Cheryl). Hahaha :P
The closest we could get to banmian in Korea: 선갈국수
Yeah so after dinner we headed back while Yixin and Adrial went to have McDonalds for dinner (because they didn't eat with us). We went up to shower and then headed to cafe to study!

The sky was dark when we went back but can you believe it it was only 6.30pm? Haha I know you guys probably don't get the feeling because you didn't experience it yourself but it indeed felt like 9pm!!

Cheryl, Yvonne and I wanted to go Cafe Story but its full so we went to check out Noriter but it was also full. We then tried Art Expresso and Rodem but all was full because its exam week. Nulbo had empty seats but we decided to try Cafe Ssome.

We peek into Cafe Ssome and it was full (again) so we left. But the staff called us back and told us there were seats inside and he led us in. Didn't know there was an extension section in Cafe Ssome and I so love the ambience and the Christmas decorations!

Honey Bread + Mocha Frappe
We brought our materials to study and Yixin joined us shortly after she came back from dinner. We studied from about 7.30pm to 10.30pm and then started our mahjong session! Hahaha because playing mahjong at home is too mainstream. xD

Selfiesssss too ^^

Look at these cutie pies w/ their sunflower poses~
And then we headed back at about 11.30pm and Cheryl & Yixin got Mini Stop chicken on their way back. Went back to the dorm and I stayed up in the PC Room till 3am to update my past two blog entries!

We love NYP hahaha
