Happy Birthday to Yixin!!! Happy 19th to this girl who is three days my junior and my roommate! Its gonna be your most memorable birthday of your 19 years of life!

I had GSM at 9am and when class ended I went with Yvonne to the florist to collect the flowers for Yixin. And then we met the rest at LGC because we wanted to give Yixin a morning surprise in class!

There was time still time so I went back to dorm first! And came two surprises from mummy & sis and Wangwei & Miaoqi!!

I left the dorm at about 11am and bought a mini cheesecake from Paris Baguette and met the rest in school about 11.30am. (Yixin's class ends at 11.45am with Meihwa) So we had the cake ready and my rose for her outside her class and we sang a birthday song for her in the class! She was surprised I guess :P She thought that was the end of the surprise but she was wrong.

The girls went for lunch together because the guys had class. We had dakkalbi in a different restaurant from our usual one and it was pretty good too! Mandatory video of dakkalbi :P

Meihwa and I went to search for whipped cream in preparation for smashing Yixin at night so we ordered 3 cups of fresh cream from Paris Baguette! And then we went back cos we needed to finish up our NGO outline (yes I didn't finish yesterday night) because its due at 3pm. I finished up my NGO outline, went to print and went for NGO class at 3pm.

I wanted to present without slides initially but I regretted afterwards because the guys presented with slides and I suddenly felt vulnerable without it. Lol. And the worse thing? I was in casual wear. In sneakers, jeans and t-shirt. I suddenly realised that I felt so insecure without my heels and formal wear. Being in nyp sbm for 2.5 years has really made me feel used to formal presentations that I now feel out of place when I presented in casual wear. Haha.

By this time Cheryl & Yvonne already passed Yixin her flowers (in their 1.30pm class) so the next person was Adrial! Adrial decided to crash her class and give her the flowers! He did it in the middle of NGO class so I didn't witness what happen but here's the recount from Cheryl and Yvonne (who were in the same class as her)!

Adrial knocked on the door of their class and told the professor, which was LGC's Dean, and also the same teacher whose class we crashed to surprise Yixin in the morning, that he needed three seconds. So he went into the class and sang a birthday song to Yixin while giving her the flower. The class clapped and sang along (I think) so Yixin had pretty much of a shock + surprise. Haha.

Anyway after NGO we met up and lepak until we decided to head to Cafe Bene to have sherbet!

She thought there were no more flowers for the day. *smirks*

We moved the tables like a boss. Hahaha.

Yixin thought that there would be no more flowers for her for the day bt she was so wrong! We gave our remaining stalk of rose to the cashier at Cafe Benne and asked her to do us a favour by passing it to Yiixn when serving our drinks and wishing her Happy Birthday. It was a huge favour because its usually self-collection for drinks and orders at the cafes there.

We stayed there for some time until about 6pm when we decided to go back to the dorm to have dinner. Meihwa and I made an excuse to detach from them to go collect the cream from PB. We settled for two cheese and one sweet potato pizza for the night! After which we said to go play pool later that night after Yixin finishes her ipp admin stuff.

So while Yixin was doing her stuff in the PC Room, Taiquan and Cheryl went to buy her a cake from Tous Les Jours while the rest prepared for ambush! Hahaha.

We "brought" Yixin down to the lounge and surprised her with the birthday cake!! And we sang her a birthday song, asked her to make a wish before blowing out the candles. But what she doesn't know is that during this time everyone is grabbing the cream with their bare hands already! Adrial said to take a group shot for us and then I took off her specs and... It's war! xD

It became super chaotic because everyone will confirm kenna the cream one, even if its not our birthday. Cheryl was beside me and then she exclaimed, "Its the start of the hunger games! I kill myself first!" while smearing the cream on her own face. Hahaha. Yvonne and I followed suit. Someone was smearing cream on Yvonne's face after that and then Taiquan exclaimed, "Yvonne got no eyebrows!" which made me laugh. It was just damn crazy and everyone had fun.

But the aftermath was disastrous. We had to clean up the lounge (obviously because there was cream everywhere) and we're thankful that the male dorm teacher let us play and have fun. While we were having fun and all the female teacher came down from her room in fourth floor and said we were very noisy and that she could hear us from the forth floor. I mean like why is she complaining when the male teacher just at first floor didn't say anything? That's why I'm especially thankful to him. I even febreeze-d the lounge after cleaning up!

The initial plan was to only smash cream on Yixin's face but when the war starts we don't even care who/what we are smashing haha. Supposed to smash cream then eat cake then go play pool but it wasn't possible already. Everyone went up to wash up and then we met Surya to go play pool!

It was Yixin, Yvonne and Meihwa's first time! So Adrial and Taiquan taught them how to play. We all took turns, and the three girls are pretty fast learners!! They did pretty well towards the end of the games! We played till 11.45pm and it was obvious Yixin and Cheryl were addicted by the game. Haha. To think I used to practice by myself everyday in the past just to brush up my skills. Miss those days :(

And then we went back to the dorm at 12mn! That pretty much summed up our long and hectic day!

By the way, the OST for the drama "The Heirs" is getting really popular over here... Everywhere we go we hear the osts playing... Just today we heard it four times. We heard "Crying Again" during lunch, and then at Cafe Bene we heard "Crying Again", "Love is the Moment" and "I'm Saying". Super love the drama and osts <3

Last but not least, happy 19th birthday again Yixin, our Hannam 8 maknae!! <3
