Day 106: 11 December, Wednesday

Woke up to a white Daejeon again! Third (or fourth) time already I guess! And I realise it always snows on a Wednesday!!

Went for GSM at 9am and took the final test. The test was okay (like I could answer some but not others) but I was stumped by the final 15 points mini essay question though.

Question: Name the three reasons Tim Berners-Lee (person who created Internet) and whether his goals have been met.

I seriously couldn't recall the three reasons although it was already tested in Mid Terms. Just as I was about to give up and leave the exam hall (let me explain why I could afford to leave the exam hall forgoing a 15-point question later), Professor said that if we cannot recall the three reasons we could also write what we learnt this semester from this module. The only requirement he had was that there must be specific examples and no fluff to show that we paid attention in class. He said we wouldn't get the full 15 marks but we could get probably 10 marks. That's something I like about this Professor. But he really have so many weird "patterns" in class that sometimes make me damn pekchek. Really "pattern 多过 badminton". Lol.

Like I said I would explain, the finals only weighs 15% of the entire module. Unlike NYP where the finals weigh the most, the weightage is spread evenly across all assignments and tests. Meaning in NYP you can skip all classes but come for the final exam and do well and prolly pass, whereas over here its the other way. You can skip your finals if you attend every class. If you skip classes regularly, chances are you're gonna see the Professor again the next semester.

Anyway I went back to the dorm to sleep immediately after I finished GSM (I was so tired till I almost fell asleep in the test). As always haha.

Woke up at 12pm to go to the post office together with Yvonne. I had one big box of food to sent and the post office is so far... We walked from out dorm and just outside Global Cafe my box tumbled and everything fell onto the road! Hahahahaha super embarrassing but thankfully there wasn't anyone around. Taiquan walked out from LGC at that time and he ended up helping me carry my box to the post office. Super thankful for him. Hehe :P

So we reached the post office and then we started bubble-wrapping our stuff to send it. Mine weighed 11kg and costs about KRW$55,000. Yvonne's was 10kg, just slightly less than me but hers was cosmetics.

So we headed back to the dorm!! Came back to a surprise Christmas + New Year card that was super cute but I have no idea who sent it because there wasn't a name written on it... Who is it! Own up okay hehe :P Though I may have some idea who was the sender. Thank you~~~

Yup and it was almost 3pm so I prepared for NGO class. I made a card and bought chocolates too as a farewell gift for Professor Eric Durham. We went to class but there was only the five Singapore students and Gyu. Professor also gave us the option to do the test today, Friday or next Monday, so we decided to do it today and get it over and done with while Meihwa decided to do it on Friday. So Professor did a review session with us and we did the quiz after class. Gyu left and Meihwa could leave too, so we decided to take photos together before the test starts!

Professor Eric Durham's class is probably one of the most interesting ones although the module is damn dry haha. Meihwa didn't want to do the test today because she said she haven't studied but truth to be told we all didn't study too! But like what I said finals only weighed 15% so it didn't really matter if you did well or not. I hope I did average though. Haha.

Ended NGO and we we met up with Cheryl, Yvonne and Yixin to go have Isaacs! On the way to Isaacs Adrial, Yixin and Yvonne were having snow fights so some pictures hehe.

We had Isaacs and then went back to the dorm. Lepak a while dinner time again. The girls wanted to go have steamed eggs but last minute changed to have Mexican Grill for dinner!

So after dinner we went back and then Yvonne wanted to go to Cafe Ssome to have 과일 빙수 (fruit sherbet) but they said they don't sell it so we went to Cafe DropTop instead and had 딸기 빙수 (strawberry sherbet). And then Yvonne studied a little of OB and we went to this place which I call "Instant Kbox"!

Its basically those shops with individual rooms for Kbox but it works on cash. You can sing a song for 30 cents, 2 songs for 50cents or $1 for 4 songs! Cheaper than normal kbox but the sound system not that good lah. But still shiok. Yvonne and I spent about KRW$6,000 there hehe. And yes tomorrow is OB but who cares haha. #yolo

Yeah so I went back and wanted to study for OB a little but gave up... Its MCQ anyway... I hope I do fine tomorrow. Wish me luck again! Tomorrow will be my 5th module down! Left with IBN negotiation role play and report due on Friday!

- Make farewell gifts & cards for Meihwa's buddy
- Meet Meihwa's buddy at 12.30pm to pass gifts & take photo
- Do farewell gifts & cards for all buddies
- Meet all buddies at 3pm
- Do IBN report
- Discuss role play with Meihwa
- Wash clothes
- Go Post Office

I don't even know whetehr I can accomplish all these tomorrow lah. So busy so busy I can't wait for Saturday to come. #2morefuckingdays
