Its Christmas!! Merry Christmas everybody! 줄거운 크리스마쓰!!
No plans for the morning but we were meeting Emma for lunch at 1pm at Hongdae Station Exit 5! Emma is in Seoul for holiday!
We met up with everyone but we had no idea what to eat for lunch so we walked around and finally settled at the place where we ate bibimbap yesterday! Ordered tonkatsu and bibimbap and shared both with Yixin!

(update) Met up with the rest and the moment Cheryl saw me she asked if we all just woke up not long ago. I told her yes because we all woke up at 12.30pm when we're supposed to meet at 1pm. And she told me, "I know because I can tell from your face because this is how you look like every morning when you wake up." And then it dawned on me that four months of staying together has made us more bonded than ever. Gonna miss seeing Cheryl and Yixin every morning when I wake up. :/
Gongcha was just beside so its my sixth day drinking it ever since I came to Seoul! Haha :P
After which we took the subway one stop to Sinchon because there was a Christmas Flea Market there! We walked around for a little while and soon it was almost 4pm so we headed to Hapjeong where there's Home Mart there so that we could do grocery shopping for our Christmas dinner tonight!

We bought a lot of stuff individually to prepare our dishes for dinner tongiht because it was going to be potluck style where everyone cook something! I made broccoli salad and potato salad! We all went back by subway with our groceries but because it was rush hour it was a little annoying on the train. But we made it back home anyway!

And then it was the Secret Santa Christmas Exchange! We each drew lots and bought presents ranging from KRW$20,000-KRW$30,000 for the person whom we selected for Christmas! Actually most of us already know who is our secret santa but it was still fun! Yvonne started and we made it compulsory to describe the person your bought gifts for in three words!

And then after we were done we joined the owner and the other guests for drinking!!
There was a soju contest and everyone had to put in a sum of money to participate and the winner takes the money! Taiquan joined on behalf of us together with one Korean, one Canadian guy, one American born Korean (one of the staff), another Singaporean called Shawn/Sean and another girl from I forgot where. Idk if its a good thing but well, Taiquan sort of won the contest haha. The other Singaporean is a DJ who mixes at Butter Factory and I must say, hearing Singlish really feels like home! Haha.

We had a fun time and went back at about 12mn. Taiquan is sound asleep at his bed while we took turns showering and turned in! Yixin and Cheryl were heading to Daejeon tomorrow morning so its kinda a free day tomorrow! Have plans to go cafe hopping myself so shall update again tomorrow!
(update) Ps. Another year has passed since last Christmas when the clock struck twelve and two friends of mine whom I haven't been in contact for some time suddenly texted me. Definitely a pleasant surprise for me. And also not forgetting making new friends this year (including those in Korea), keeping in contact with a few of my bestest friends, and meeting a few special people in my life that made a big difference. Thankful to have these people in my life, especially grateful to those that never left me since you came, and also friends whom I've gotten closer just recently. All of you add up to one of the best memories is 2013 especially the bottom half of the year. A very big thank you and Merry Christmas!
