Day 112: 17 December, Tuesday

Its the first Tuesday where I have no MICE! How happy can I get hahaha.

Well but its a hectic Tuesday for me. Actually, its a hectic week for all of us. Not enough time to pack and meet friends. And we're just gonna go like that. *sobs*

Woke up at 10.30am and headed for E-Mart with Cheryl at 11am to get stuff to send back! Its just the two of us who went but we were buying things on behalf of the other as well. And here's what we bought.

Yes and we almost emptied the shelves.

Yeah and we paid for our stuff and packed them into boxes (that's provided by E-Mart for free) and then headed down to take a taxi. The damn car boot can only fit three boxes so I sat at the back with two boxes while Cheryl sat at the front (yes we have 5 boxes).

Somehow the two of us made it back to the dorm. 

When we reached our dorm, Cheryl went to take the boxes form the car boot while I take the stuff out of the taxi before alighting myself. I paid and thanked the taxi uncle and just as he drove off, that spilt second, I realised I left my phone in the taxi!! Holy f*ck sh*t I ran after the taxi and waved my hands frantically and kept shouting "ahjussi" (like some drama) although I know he can't hear but thankfully he stopped!! Oh my god a hell of an experience. I would have cried for three days three nights if I lost my phone. Thanks to the taxi uncle too!!

Okay so we managed to survive back to the dorm with the boxes we had but the problem now was there's no space for the boxes. Our room was full!! Haha. Yvonne, Meihwa and Yixin went to have dakkalbi for lunch while Cheryl and I headed to the bank followed by buying Isaacs and fries from Mexican Grill for lunch back. We went to the steamed eggs restaurant to make a reservation for dinner tonight for 14 of us at 7.30pm. So thankful that they accept reservations or else I really don't know what to do and where to go to find a restaurant that fits 14 people and during dinner peak hours. Like Cheryl and I said, "the odds are in our favour today." Hehe ^^

So we headed back to the dorm and Yvonne's buddy came to our dorm to meet us! We passed her all our gifts for her and took photos with her! She's so pretty and shy I'll miss her!!

Okay so after meeting Yvonne's buddy Cheryl and I headed to the post office while Meihwa and Yvonne went to Eunhaeng-dong. Cheryl and I decided to put our stuff in our luggage and drag it to the post office because we really bobian already. Thank god Yixin went with us. If not we'd have died on the journey to the post office... Seriously man.

So we reached the post office after like eternity and then there was these flight of stairs in front of the post office which we dreaded so much! Thanks to this Korean guy who offered to help us! So thankful for him~~

The staff in the post office saw us and they were like shocked by the amount of stuff we had so I told her, "오늘 마지막 에요" which means its the last time I'm sending stuff today (I've went to the post office about five times already).

We took about an hour and were finally done so we made payment! Three boxes of food (mainly seaweed) plus one big box of my stuff cost KRW$170,200!! And the heaviest box weighs 24kg! 헐...

We went back to the dorm after that and Cheryl went to sleep while I packed my stuff. Finally our room is cleared!! Haha.

We met at the lounge at 7pm for dinner!! Cheryl and I made reservations for 14 people at the steamed eggs place (supposedly Hannam 8 + Surya Tai Zion Rocky + Seunghoon & dorm teacher). Ended up Tai and Zion couldn't make it because Tai's grandmother fell sick and Zion went with him. Kinda sad that I don't get to see them once more before I leave, but its okay!

We headed to the steamed eggs place and its most probably our last time eating there. I will miss the aunt and the eggs!! We had fun taking photos during dinner hehe. Dinner was fun because there was a big group of us. And Leila joined us. Hehe :P

So after dinner just as we were about to pay, Seunghoon stood up and Adrial said that Seunghoon is planning to pay! Out of a sudden everyone stood up and went to the cashier to stop him. Thankfully the aunt was close to me so I told her not to accept his money and she didn't. Adrial paid in the end. Haha.

We took photos with the aunt too! Yixin and I took Polaroids and we took a group photo too!!

We then went to the underground drinking place to see if there's space but apparently there's no space for us so we went to Pommes Frites instead. We ordered beer and fries and had a great chat! It was our first time hanging out with the dorm teacher and I must say he's one funny guy!

Because he was originally sitting on the other end of the table (which was closer to Cheryl), he first made Cheryl call him "oppa", which was kinda weird for us that's why the Singaporean girls never managed to address him as "oppa". But in the end Cheryl said it! And then he came over to our side to ask the four of us call him "oppa" too. When we said no he asked why. We told him it wasn't our style haha. But he kept making us call him "oppa" and so we did!

He almost leaked a lot of secrets to us haha and I was thinking was he drunk. But nonetheless it was a fun night because everyone were feeling happy with the beer and fries~~ Azaria joined us halfway through too!

Still kinda sad its our last time meeting up with Surya and Rocky... Farewells are so sad I don't even want to say goodbye T_T So that's when photos come in! They snap the moment and it lasts forever :D

Cheryl stayed out for the night while the rest of us went back. Seunghoon treated us to drinking so we were thankful! Everyone gave Seunghoon gifts and I gave to Surya, Rocky, Tai, Grace, and Mac too! They're really wonderful friends to have overseas and I'm so thankful to have met them. Although we might not have met up often but we always have fun when we're together!

And specially to Surya! If you're reading this haha. Somehow or rather got amazingly close with him and I don't even know how/why haha. Really gonna miss you when I leave Korea :( Although you're always being so mean to me I know you don't mean it haha. And although I always hit you or say you're mean you're still one of the best friends I made in Korea. Gotta see you real soon in Singapore alright!

Yet another farewell tonight... And #2moredays to leaving Daejeon. Mixed feelings getting stronger and stronger. Let's hope we'll all meet again!
