Day 123: 28 December, Saturday

Temperature: -6/2 degrees
Weather: Fine

Woke up at about 12pm but nua-ed for an hour because I was feeling tired! Met Amanda at about 1pm where we went to the bibimbap restaurant and had lunch there! Tonkatsu and Korean stews for lunch~~

And how could we forget Gongcha~~~

First destination: Kyungbuk Palace! I've actually been there with HNU8 already so I'm bringing them there again. Photos!

And then to the palace museum that's just opposite as well :) Though I've been there before but we explored more this time so more photos than last time!

FOODDD
The egg look so tempting...

Royal family library

And after museum was Gwanghwa-mun!!

History Timeline
It was quite late after we left the museum so we decided to drop Bukchon Hanok Village for the day and head for Namsan Tower! We went by the same way as I did with HNU8; take the subway to Chungmuro and bus no. 2 to the top of Namsan!

And they bought tickets up to the observatory while I waited downstairs for them~ Ate Queen Swiss Mushroom Burger at the restaurant and it was damn good!!

Chilling at the restaurant while waiting :)

Thick juicy beef!
So I had a lot of time at the restaurant so I was revising my Korean and eating and observing everyone around. It was much more interesting than in Singapore because there're all sorts of people here; Korean and foreigners. And a few Koreans spotted my Korean notes and came over to take a peek!

And this couple sat beside me at one point in time and the girl caught my attention because of her heels <3

And this couple is damn sweet. The guy was dressed very smartly in a white collared shirt and blazer. He was the soft-spoken type, and throughout my observation he didn't talk much but he was smiling. The girl, on the other hand, was outgoing, but not the noisy or bitchy kind. She doesn't seem the over-giving kind but just right. Like almost the perfect girl and guy. When they first came in the girl pulled out the high chair and sat down. The guy didn't help her, which was kinda normal. He waited for the girl to sit down before taking off his coat and putting it over her shoulder. And then when the girl was eating her burger, he helped her arrange the wrapper neatly while she's holding it. And then he silently took out his phone and wanted to snap a photo of her but she was so shy she just pushed the phone away and smiled. They were just to cute I couldn't take the sweetness :D

The sweet couple ^^
After about half an hour they came down and we went to buy tickets and board the cable car down!

Cute kid we saw :)

We arrived at Myeongdong and had the same Ginseng Chicken as last time for dinner!

Dinner!
And then next was shopping!!

And after a while we stopped by Beans Bins Cafe to have a small chat!

Beans Bins Cafe: Top 10 must-go in Seoul (ladyironchef)
We left at about 11pm to catch the subway back and on the way back we walked by to get tacos from Taco Bell and we spotted this roadside game stall! Its popping balloons with darts! KRW$5,000 for 8 darts! Amanda tried and she hit 5 balloons and she got a medium sized bear so I tried too! And I got one!

Ended off happily with my new bear but now I'm thinking about luggage space... Anyways, I didn't realise its the end of December and 2013 already!! Have a great end-of-year everyone!!
